I can't let a post like yesterday's stand, not when I'm feeling better, as I am today. So please don't worry about me - not today.
I read a couple of emails I sent to friends yesterday when I was in the depths and can't believe that was only yesterday morning. I feel so far removed from those feelings now. What a crazy illness this is!
Today I saw my pdoc and I'm happy he's putting me back on the medication cocktail I was on when I was doing much better, several months ago. During those times I had been so stable with only occasional depression - maybe two biggish ones a year. It will be so good to get back to that more stable me again. I'm feeling very hopeful tonight.
I spent this morning creating a Living Room pamphlet, something we so very much need to tell people what our support groups are all about. Accomplishing that was in itself an encouragement - a mood booster. In fact, I feel hugely good about it!
Tomorrow we'll have Bible study at my house so my next goal is to do some cleaning. I'm not very good at housework but having company is a great incentive. So I guess I'd better draw this post to a close and do some "real" work.

Marja, I'm so glad to hear that today is a better day for you. I'm anxious to see that pamphlet when it's ready....or just the words you put into it.
Good morning, Brenda. If you send your address to me via email, I'll get a copy off to you once it's complete and approved.
You have a good day too, eh? Hope the weather's good where you are so you can go for another walk.
Love - marja
Hi Marja!
It's been a while since I've been around, but I do think of you often!
It's great to be able to read about what God is doing in your life. At times when we feel the lowest is usually when we have that gut-honest talk with God - something along the lines of "I can't do this anymore" and He is faithful to answer our honest prayers. It's great to see God at work. That, in turn, will boost your faith because you know that He will answer when you talk to Him from your heart.
In regards to your worth, I'll share with you what God has been teaching me lately - You are what GOD says you are. No one else has the authority to tell you who you are. Look it up in His Word what He thinks of you - You are beloved, fearfully and wonderfully made, worth more than many sparrows, and so much more! He values you enough that He would have died even if MARJA was the only person to die for.
On another topic - I have a temporary go ahead to start up Living Room in the fall!!! I am going to spend the summer laying the ground work, and pray for God's blessing as we plan to move ahead with it! So, I'd like a copy of that brochure, too, if you don't mind!!
Dear Paula,
You're so right about times like this being good for those gut honest talks with God. And interesting how what you quote about us being fearfully and wonderfully made (from Psalm 139) is exactly what my pastor had me read when I was in the depths on Monday morning.
Paula. I can't tell you how excited I am about your go ahead to do Living Room! When a new group forms it's like birthing a new child for me (without the pain).
Do you have the manuals? Have you checked the website? You will need the manuals and yes, when you get going you will need some pamphlets to distribute to people who might be interested.
I'm so happy about this, Paula!
Hi Marja!
I'm so glad you're feeling better today. I hope tomorrow is also a great day for you :)
Love, Jena
Dear Marja,
Mood swings are so disruptive and disturbing, aren't they? And it is amazing to think you can feel one way one day, and totally different the next.
Glad to hear you're doing better. I, too, have changed moods. And while you just email friends about it, I make the mistake the writing about it in my blog.
So, while I was going to take March off, I'm figuring out ways to post without exhausting myself. And guess what? I'm posting photographs!
Susan
Jena, It's Thursday. And so far so good. See you soon, eh? I'll give you a call soon.
Susan,
So good to see you posting again after all. I might copy your idea and post some photos as well. Thanks for letting me know your blog is still live this month.

Marja,
Hope is a wonderful thing and I am so glad yesterday's appointment gave you hope. I know that feeling of coming out of the doctor's office with a new plan, and with hope! That usually gives me a few 'up' minutes or hours or maybe even a full day! I too would like a copy of your brochure when it is ready. I am also hoping to get a group going at my church.
May those optimistic feelings stick around!
Wendy Love
Dear Marja,
I am so glad you are feeling better. Thank God for lifting you up. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Take care!
With love and prayers,
Nancie
Hi Wendy,
So good to hear from people like you who know exactly what the ups and downs feel like. So glad you're thinking of starting a Living Room group. I'll be emailing you about it. The pamphlets haven't passed approval yet, but as soon as they have I'll start getting them out.

Nancie, Thank you so much for visiting and for your love and prayers. I think of you too.
Love, marja
