The Bible says it well in Philippians 4:6 and 8:
"Do not be anxious about anything...(and some more good stuff)...whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable - if anything is excellent or praiseworthy - think about such things."
That's where I'm at this morning. Looking up, not even wanting to glance down.

Dear Marja,
I wrote about this in my response to you. For years, I ignored my depressions and didn't think about them. But, this year I went back to therapy in January specifically with the goal of addressing what goes wrong in October and how to deal with it.
Of course, we also discussed other things that I felt were causing the depressions to continue although I feel I've been "done with them" for two years now.

Probably a good thing, Susan. The Bible also tells us that we need to fight the enemy with everything we've got. (Ephesians 6)
Ah...so many ways to deal with problems, eh? And they're probably different for every one of us.
